Extras sought for TV pilot at Franklin Street Station

Applications due noon Friday

READING, Pa. - If you're interested in acting, this weekend could be your big break.

A production company is seeking 50 extras for a TV pilot about the Franklin Street Station in Reading.

Marabella Entertainment & Education Enterprises said filming will take place Saturday and Sunday, with extras needed on Sunday.

People of every age, ethnicity and ability are invited to participate, according to a news release from the company.

Anyone interested can fill out an application online by noon Friday. The company’s extras coordinator will confirm specific times and location to those who respond by that deadline.

Extras are requested to wear casual clothing in muted colors (browns, grays) and avoid wild prints or logo-decorated shirts.

The production company also announced its main cast, saying seven of the 12 actors are natives of Reading or its neighboring communities.
