Reading hits 5 homers in win over Erie

READING - The Reading Fightin Phils hit five home runs in Wednesday's 7-6 win over the Erie SeaWolves at FirstEnergy Stadium.

Anthony Hewitt accounted for two of those long balls, bringing his season total to 14. Justin Dalles, Kelly Dugan and Maikel Franco connected on the other homers. The big fly was Dalles' first of the year.

Mike Nesseth saved the game for Mario Hollands, stranding the tying and go-ahead runs on base in the ninth.

The series will conclude on Thursday night at 7:05 at FirstEnergy Stadium
