Fightin Phils get much-needed win over Altoona

READING, Pa. - The Reading Fightin Phils picked up a 6-3 win over Altoona on Monday night at Baseballtown. It's just the 4th victory for the Fightins in the month of May.

Reading took a 1-0 lead in the first inning on a RBI-single from Jim Murphy. They would never give the lead back.

The Fightin Phils got home runs from Murphy, Cameron Rupp and Edgar Duran.

The four-game series will continue on Tuesday night at 6:35 at FirstEnergy Stadium.
