Fightins, Berks VNA team up for annual drive-thru flu clinic

READING, Pa. - The Reading Fightin Phils and the Berks Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) have teamed up to keep Baseballtown residents free of the flu this winter.

The VNA held its third annual drive-thru flu clinic on the parking lot of FirstEnergy Stadium in Reading on Sunday.

"Flu vaccines are as much of a preventative measure for yourself as it is for those around you, some of whom may not be able to have the same vaccines," said Constance Morrison, the CEO of Home Health Care Management Inc., the Berks VNA's parent company. "We want to make getting immunizations easy for people so they can stay healthier and prevent the flu virus from spreading," Morrison continued."

For more information about future clinics, you can call the Berks VNA at 610-378-0481.

Donations to support the free clinics can be made on the Home Health Care Management's website.
