Firefighters battle multi-alarm fire in Birdsboro

Two-alarm-fire in Birdsboro

BIRDSBORO, Pa. - Fire tore through a building in Birdsboro and a 69 News viewer caught it on camera.

Firefighters from beyond Birdsbroro responded to help knock out those flames.

Crews were on the roof of the building when we arrived on scene around 7:00.

It happened in the 100 block of South Mill Street.

One witness says he saw the fire and told everyone inside to get out.

"I was coming up the road I saw smoke just about as big as the trees and I pulled in jumped out the car went in there and told everybody they gotta get it going," said witness Joseph Hodges.  "They kinda all scared and all scattered."

No word on how the fire started.
