3-alarm fire damages popular restaurant in West Reading

WEST READING, Pa. - A popular restaurant in Berks County was devastated by fire early Sunday morning.

Firefighters responded to the call just before 2 a.m. at the Go Fish Seafood Market and Sushi Bar in the 600 block of Penn Avenue in West Reading.

The fire went to three alarms before it could be extinguished. Fire officials said they estimate the fire caused about $250,000 in damage.

No one was injured.

Investigators haven't determined the cause, but hey said it was an accidental fire that started in the kitchen.
