Firefighters limit fire damage at car wash in Birdsboro

BIRDSBORO, Pa. - Firefighters managed to keep a car wash in Berks County from going up in flames.

Crews responded shortly before 9:30 a.m. Wednesday to 300 Armorcast Road in Birdsboro for the report of flames and smoke coming from a garage door at the Birdsboro Car Wash.

They got the fire out in a matter of minutes, containing the damage to the automatic side of the car wash, according to Birdsboro's fire marshal.

No one was injured.

The fire marshal told 69 News he has not yet determined the cause of the fire.
