Tigers pull away from Raiders in Berks II showdown

ELVERSON - At Elverson, Fleetwood (3-1, 5-4) recorded a 9-4 win over Twin Valley (2-3, 4-4) in a meeting of Berks II teams on Monday afternoon.

The Raiders got off to a good start when Richard Lennon connected on a 2-run home run in the 1st inning.

But Twin Valley couldn't close the deal. The Tigers tied the game multiple times before the taking the lead for good in the 4th inning with 4 runs. Jake Wapinsky had the decisive hit in the frame with a 2-run single.

Fleetwood visits Hamburg on Wednesday. Twin Valley goes to Conrad Weiser on Wednesday.
