Gov. Corbett highlights success of partnership in Berks Co.

HARRISBURG, Pa. - A successful partnership in Berks County has caught the attention of Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett.

The governor said he's been urging officials to find ways to for residents of the state's community corrections centers to help their communities.

In April, 69 News reported on several residents of the Wernersville Community Corrections Center who helped build houses for Habitat for Humanity in Muhlenberg Township.

The governor is encouraging similar partnerships throughout the state.
