Groundbreaking for new Perry Elementary Center

PERRY TWP., Pa. - Young Hawks are getting some new digs.

Ground was broken this afternoon on a new Perry Elementary Center in Perry Township, near Shoemakersville.

Officials with the Hamburg Area School District said the building will house 500 students.

The new building will replace the current Perry Elementary School, which has been part of the district since 1931.
