Hamels suffers setback at spring training

CLEARWATER, FLA. - One of the Phillies spring training games was washed out on Thursday. Cole Hamels' scheduled throwing session was also cancelled, but not due to the weather.
A tired arm kept Hamels off the bump, furthering the concerns about the lefty ace.

The setback means Hamels is unlikely to return to the Phillies rotation for the first month of the regular season.

Hamels says there is no reason to think there is something seriously wrong with his arm.

There's no pain, it's just fatigue. The veteran hopes to throw off a mound sometime next week.

The news puts even more pressure on a Phillies starting rotation that is already dealing with depth concerns.
