Hiker who fell 30 feet from cliff released from hospital

SALISBURY TWP., Pa. - A woman critically injured in a fall near a popular hiking trail in northern Berks County has been released from the hospital.

Lara Kadambi, of Wilmington, Del., had been in critical condition since falling nearly 30 feet off a cliff last month while she was hiking with a group at "The Pinnacle," near the Appalachian Trail in Albany Township.

Several good Samaritans rushed to help her after she fell.
