Homicide suspect surrenders to police; other still sought

READING, Pa. - One of two men wanted in the deadly shooting of a Reading man over the weekend has surrendered to police.

Juan Carlos Otero-Roman gave himself up Wednesday morning, said Capt. Damond Kloc, Reading Police Dept.

A second suspect, William Roman Martinez, is still at large.

Reading police said they have enlisted the help of the FBI and the U.S. Marshal's Task Force to track him down.

Both men are facing first and third degree murder charges for the shooting death of Maximino Cruz on Mulberry Street in Reading early Sunday morning.

Anyone with information about Martinez' whereabouts is asked to call Crime Alert Berks County at 877-373-9913.

Anonymous tipsters who provide information that leads to an arrest could receive a cash reward of up to $10,000.
