Hoss's matching customers' donations for Harvey victims

Restaurants in Leesport, near Pottsville

DUNCANSVILLE, Pa. - Hoss's Steak and Sea House is serving up an offer to customers who want to help victims of Hurricane Harvey.

The Blair County-based restaurant chain, with locations on Route 61 in Leesport and Route 183 near Pottsville, announced Thursday that it is collecting and matching monetary donations to help people who have been impacted by Harvey.

Through Sunday, September 17, money can be placed in donation boxes at all 35 Hoss's restaurants, as well as at the five locations of Hoss's sister company, Marzoni's Brick Oven and Brewing Co. No purchase is necessary.

At the close of business on September 17, Hoss's and Marzoni's will match the donations and turn them over to the Greater Houston Community Foundation's Harvey Relief Fund, which has raised nearly $38 million, as of Thursday afternoon.
