Human trafficking forum held in Spring Township

SPRING TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Residents gathered in Spring Township Tuesday night to learn about a problem that goes unnoticed in many communities.

A forum on human trafficking was held at West Lawn United Methodist Church.

Officials from the District Attorney's office and Lehigh Valley Against Sex Trafficking were on hand.

Human trafficking is a problem in Pennsylvania, and officials say awareness is a major issue.

"Sometimes there are so many things that are going in our communities that we are not aware of what's going on what's happening, not to mention adult things," said Rev. Nicolas Camacho of West Lawn UMC.

If you see something that looks suspicious you should contact police.
