Jill Canuso puts revolutionary car on display at Maple Grove Raceway

Canuso, Hanna Motorsports unveil new dragster

BRECKNOCK TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Jill Canuso and Hanna Motorsports will be showcasing their new, revolutionary jet dragster at the Super Chevy Event at Maple Grove Raceway this weekend.

The dragster is expected to exceed speeds of 300 mph. and is built in unique fashion. Instead of having the driver directly in front of the engine, the designer built a cockpit to the side of the engine, allowing air to reach the engine directly.

The new racer has been a dream of Al Hanna, President of Hanna Motorsports, for years. He would not want anyone other than Canuso to drive it either.

Canuso is a native of Bensalem but now lives in Pottstown. She is very familiar with Maple Grove Raceway, coming to the track since she was very young. She considers herself a pioneer in motorsports, not only for piloting this new model, but for  being one of the few licensed female jet dragster drivers.

She's very excited to be back and showcase the state-of-the-art jet dragster.
