Judge approves change of venue in Connor trial

READING, Pa. - A man accused of giving his son guns, one of which was used to kill a sheriff's deputy, will be retried outside of Berks County.

A judge has approved a change of venue for Maurice Connor.

A mistrial was declared in the case earlier this month because five members of the jury said they knew about the death of Sheriff's Deputy Kyle Pagerly.

Connor is accused of giving his son, Matthew, a convicted felon, guns.

Matthew Connor used at least one of those guns to kill Pagerly in Albany Township two years ago.
