KU and Albright preparing for tough tests at home

KU, Albright preparing for big tests at home

BERKS COUNTY - The Kutztown and Albright football teams will face nationally-ranked teams at home this week. Both the Golden Bears and Lions are coming off road losses.

KU will host #13 Bloomsburg in its home opener on Saturday. First-year head coach Drew Folmar is still looking for his first win of the 2013 season. The game will also be Kutztown's PSAC East-opener.

Kutztown has already been tested against a couple of the conference's western teams, Clarion and California.

Also on Saturday, Albright will look to go to 2-1 when the Lions host #21 Delaware Valley in the annual Pretzel Bowl.

Albright topped Kean in their opener but lost late at Stevenson last week.

Both teams have been focused at practice over the last couple days and are eager to test themselves against some of the nation's best teams.
