Stoudt's sac fly lifts Golden Bears past Winston-Salem

SPRING TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Kyle Stoudt hit a 9th inning sacrifice fly to break a scoreless tie and the Kutztown University baseball team staved off elimination with a 1-0 win over Winston-Salem State in the NCAA Atlantic Regional Friday at Owls Field.

Carson Baker scored the winning run for the Golden Bears, who had led-off the inning with a single.

Colin Holmes was lights out on the mound for KU. He went 8.1 innings, striking out a pair and allowing only 4 hits.

Kutztown will play an opponent to be determined on Saturday at 3:30 at Owls Field.
