KU fundraiser benefits Bloomsburg fight victims

KUTZTOWN, Pa. - It's a sweet gesture from Kutztown University students following a fight at Bloomsburg University.

The KU Public Relations Club held a bake sale to benefit two Bloomsburg students hurt in February.

Police said the students got in a fight with members of the KU football team.

The Kutztown students signed a book with encouraging messages for the injured students.

"We want to make it clear that the rest of the student body doesn't think that way, doesn't act that way, and we want to make it known that we are here for Bloomsburg and we feel for them," said Cara Swetsky, a KU student.

Club members said they will use proceeds from the sale to get the injured students a gift.
