KU gears up for Shippensburg; Albright regroups during bye week

KU gears up for Shippensburg; Albright fresh after bye

BERKS COUNTY - The Kutztown University Football team has resurrected it's season over the last few weeks. The Golden Bears have won two in a row and have evened their record at 3-3.

But KU will face a very stiff challenge this week when undefeated Shippensburg comes to town.

The Golden Bears know the defense will have to come up big in this one.

This game will feature two of the PSAC's most prolific offenses.

The KU defense feels ready for the challenge as long as it works as a unit and forces Shippensburg to become one-dimensional.

The Albright football team had a bye last weekend. It could not have come at a better time.

After starting the year 3-0, the Lions dropped two straight heading into the week off.

Albright used the bye week to get back to fundamentals and gear up for the second half of the season. The Lions will be home Saturday against FDU-Florham.
