KU softball punches ticket to PSAC Championship Game

Kutztown reaches PSAC Championship game

QUAKERTOWN, Pa. - The Kutztown University softball team walked-off with a 3-2 win over Bloomsburg on Friday to advance to the PSAC Championship Game.

Trailing 2-0 heading into their half of the 6th, KU's Morgan Booth homered to left to make it a 2-1 game.

Down to their final out in the 7th, Lindsey Kelley singled to score Rachel Lawes and tie the game at 2. The game went to extra innings.

In the 8th, Colleen Smith knocked in Jackie Hetzler with a base hit to give Kutztown the 3-2 victory.

KU will play Cal in tomorrow's championship game at noon in Quakertown. The Golden Bears will need to lose twice.
