KU softball splits with West Chester; Baseball rolls

KUTZTOWN - The Kutztown University softball team earned a twin bill split with PSAC-rival West Chester on Thursday at North Campus Field. The KU baseball team had little trouble with Bloomfield, rolling to a big win.

Softball dropped game 1 of the double-header with West Chester, 5-2, but rebounded in game 2 with a come-from-behind win, 4-3, in 10 innings.

KU goes to 7-12 overall and 1-1 in conference play.

The baseball team coasted to a 13-1 victory over Bloomfield at home. The Golden Bears put the game away with a 10-run 4th inning.

Kutztown ups its record to 11-6 overall.
