Law enforcers biking to honor fallen comrades

BERN TWP., Pa. - Dozens of law enforcers presented officer Brad Fox's widow, Lynsay, with an honorary riding jersey in Berks County on Friday.

The presentation took place before the riders started a 200-mile trip to the National Peace Officer's Memorial Day services in Washington, D.C. They ride to rember.

"My brother-in-law was Reading police Ofc. Scott Wertz. He was killed in the line of duty in August 2006. He's one of the reasons I ride, and all the law enforcement officers who've gone before us in the service," said Dustin Schappell.

The ride raises money for the families of fallen officers.
