Local business owner gets national honor

A local business owner is getting a national honor.

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce presented Hamid Chaudhry with its annual Community Excellence Award.

Chaudhry owns Dairy Queen restaurants in Kenhorst and Exeter Township.

The Chamber of Commerce says the restaurants regularly give back to local schools, first responders and families in need.

Chaudhry also owns several other local businesses.
