Man charged with stealing $42K worth...

READING, Pa. - A Reading man has been charged with stealing tens of thousand of dollars' worth of tools from an auto shop.

Investigators said they traced fingerprints at the scene of the theft back to Angelo Ortiz.

Police said Ortiz, 39, broke into Samuel and Sons Auto Shop in the 700 block of North Ninth Street last October. They said dozens of tools, worth $42,000, were taken.

Ortiz was committed to the Berks County Jail on $50,000 bail.
