Man flown from accident on Interstate 78 in Bethel

Man flown to the hospital after crash on I-78

BETHEL TWP., Pa. - A man was seriously injured when his car overturned on Interstate 78 in Berks County on Thursday.

Emergency crews got the call at 4:05 p.m. to respond to the eastbound lanes of I-78 at milepost 12 in Bethel Township.

Initial reports from the scene were that the victim was unconscious in the vehicle. He was flown to Reading Hospital for treatment.

State police, who are handling the investigation, have not released the victim's name.

There were no other reports of injuries.
