Man found in Schuylkill River confirmed to be Bradley Verret

READING, Pa. - The six-week search for a missing Berks County man came to an end Sunday with the discovery of his body in the Schuylkill River in Reading.

The coroner confirmed the body to be that of 26-year-old Bradley Verret, who was last seen February 7 at Trooper Thorn's restaurant and bar on Morgantown Road in southwest Reading.

His body was found in the water not far away from where he was last seen.

Since his disappearance, several searches had been held. Just last Sunday, kayakers who were looking for Verrett along the Schuylkill River found the body of another man in Exeter Township.

Authorities have not yet determined how Verret died.
