Man pleads guilty to charges in deadly DUI crash in Reading

Brad Feltenberger sentenced to 2-6 years in state prison

READING, Pa. - A Muhlenberg Township man will spend up to six years in prison for causing a deadly crash in 2012.

Brad Feltenberger pleaded guilty Friday to charges of homicide by vehicle, driving under the influence and reckless endangerment. A judge ordered him to serve two to six years in state prison, along with a concurrent probation sentence.

Feltenberger had a blood alcohol level of more than twice the legal limit on the night of Feb. 29, 2012, when his speeding truck struck a man on the Warren Street Bypass in Reading, police said.

The victim, Jorge Rodriguez-Cintron, was one of two people helping to divert traffic around the scene of a minor accident in the eastbound lanes of the bypass when he was hit, police said.

Rodriguez-Cintron died of his injuries the next day.
