Man taken to hospital after vehicle hits bridge

BOYERTOWN, Pa. - One man was taken to the hospital after his car hit a railroad bridge in Boyertown.

It happened around 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at West Spring Street and North Reading Avenue.

Police say the driver swerved into the bridge to avoid rear-ending another car.

We're told he was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital with serious injuries.
