Marc Anthony to come 'full circle' with return to Reading

Pop star performed before sold-out crowd in 2016

READING, Pa. - Reading loves Marc Anthony, and it appears the Grammy Award-winning pop artist loves Reading.

Anthony announced Friday his return to Berks County this fall, performing at the Santander Arena on November 10 as part of his "Full Circle" tour.

Tickets for the show will go on sale next Friday, June 2, at the arena's box office on Penn Street and online through Ticketmaster.

This will be the singer-songwriter's second visit to the Santander Arena. He performed for a sold-out crowd there on October 1, 2016, as part of his "Marc Anthony Live!" tour. The outpouring of enthusiasm for his first appearance prompted the city to declare that day "Marc Anthony Day."

"He is an outstanding artist of international acclaim, and his appearance here elevates our city, as well as pays tribute to our growing and energetic Latino population," said Reading City Council President Jeff Waltman.

Anthony has sold more than 12 million albums. He holds two Guinness World Records: one for the best-selling tropical salsa artist and the other for the most number-one albums on the Billboard Tropical Albums year-end charts.
