Miracle Maisy, Lady Luck find forever homes

READING, Pa. - The stories of two pets that were victims of abuse now have happy endings.

Miracle Maisy, the cat who was found doused in gasoline and tossed in a trash dumpster in Reading, is doing much better..

The Humane Society of Berks County said she has found her forever home. Maisy was adopted over the weekend, and so was Lady Luck.

The tiny Chihuahua was found to be malnourished in a trash can on Penn Street in Reading. She is now happy and healthy with her new owners.

The Humane Society said Lady has two Chihuahua siblings in her forever home.
