Muhlenberg Township fire company awarded over $23,000 in federal grants

MUHLENBERG TWP., Pa. - The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has awarded the Temple Fire Company Number One over $23,000 in grants.

The funds, totaling $23,627, were awarded through the assistance to firefighters grant program.

"Pennsylvania's firefighters endure risk and sacrifice every day to keep their community safe," said Senator Casey in a statement. "This money will help provide Berks County's firefighters with the resources they need to ensure their safety and the safety of those they serve."
