Pair of Reading schools designated as 'No Place for Hate'

READING, Pa. - Two schools in Reading are telling hate to take a hike.

Students at Amanda Stout Elementary and Marion Elementary celebrated Tuesday after being designated "No Place for Hate" schools.

Each school received the designation after forming a committee, adopting a resolution to create a more inclusive school and implementing programs to promote respect for each other.

More than 200 schools across Pennsylvania and New Jersey participate in the "No Place for Hate" program.
