PennDOT employee hit by street sweeper

GREENWICH TWP., Pa. - Police say a PennDOT worker had to be taken to the hospital Monday night after being hit by a street sweeper.

It happened just after 8:30 p.m. on Interstate 78 in Greenwich Township.

Police say the worker was walking around after the accident and was taken to Lehigh Valley Hospital as a precaution.
