Pennsylvania's moving DUI memorial makes stop in Exeter

EXETER TWP., Pa. - The Pennsylvania DUI Moving Memorial pulled into Exeter Township on Thursday.

The memorial was in Berks County ahead of the summer's busiest travel days. The memorial has the names of 1,000 people killed by impaired drivers.

"It's important for people to know the human element," said Justin Bodor, assistant district attorney. "When people make these decisions to get behind the wheel when they've had too much drink, they're making a decision that certainly effects themselves, their own families, but also the families of anyone else on the road."

First-time DUI convictions carry jail time, fines and a license suspension.
