Perry Township residents concerned about sewer rate hike

PERRY TWP., Pa. - Residents in Perry Township came out Tuesday night to sound off about a possible sewer rate hike.

Township officials saod the wastewater treatment plant in Shoemakersville needs repairs and the rate increase would help offset the costs.

They're not sure exactly how much the increase would be, but estimate it would be about $30 a month.

Some residents at Tuesday's meeting said they're concerned about getting a higher bill.
