Police cite 4 for trespassing at Kernsville Dam

TILDEN TWP., Pa. - Tilden Township Police say they cited four people Thursday for trespassing at the Kernsville Dam Recreation Area.

Police say at 2:30 p.m. they made contact with an adult from Schuylkill Haven at Lot 3. Police say that person will be cited for criminal trespass. 

About 10 minutes later a Waterways Conservation officer from the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission made contact with three adults at the Rock. Tilden Township Police then went to that location. Police say one of the adults was from Collegeville and two other adults, were from Limerick. They will be cited for criminal trespass, according to police. 

The adult from Collegeville was under 21 and had alcoholic beverages. Police say that adult will also be cited for summary possession of liquor or malt or brewed beverages.

Since April, police have cited 73 people for criminal trespass and two people for trespass by motor vehicle.
