Police seek man who robbed grocery store at gunpoint

EXETER TWP., Pa. - Police are searching for a man who robbed a grocery store in Berks County at gunpoint Friday.

The gun-toting robber reached over a counter and took money from the Redner's in the Shelbourne Square shopping center in Perkiomen Avenue in Exeter Township around 8:30 p.m., police said.

Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to call Exeter Township police at 610-779-1490. Tipsters can also contact Crime Alert Berks County by texting an anonymous tip to 847411, starting the message with keyword alertberks, or by calling 877-373-9913.

If your tip to Crime Alert leads to an arrest, you could get a cash reward.
