Police seek to interview man in probe of woman's death

READING, Pa. - State police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man they want to interview in their investigation of a Schuylkill County woman's death.

The man, seen in surveillance photos, was with Alishia Eller at a store in Lebanon on Friday evening, hours before she was found dead near Interstate 78 in Bethel Twp., Berks Co. Another photo also shows a car in connection with the case.

An autopsy done Sunday failed to reveal how or where Eller, 24, died, so further tests are being done.

"That's what we're trying to determine -- if she died at the scene or did she die somewhere else and then someone brought her body out there and dumped it out there," said Tpr. David Beohm, Pa. State Police.

The man police are trying to identify, they said, is neither a suspect nor a person of interest in the case. They only want to talk with him about the hours leading up to Eller's death.

On Monday, police put out a plea for Eller's friends and anyone with information that can help investigators to contact them with what they know. The number to call is 484-660-1011.
