Police, volunteers search for missing Berks man

Police, volunteers search for missing...

READING, Pa. - Search crews canvassed the area near Trooper Thorn's Irish Pub on Saturday for a Berks County man who vanished several days ago.

Surveillance video from the pub shows Bradley Verret, 26, sitting alone at the bar Tuesday night.

"He was on his phone the entire time, which isn't unusual for someone that's in the bar by themselves," said Jacquie Trapp, the owner of Trooper Thorn's.

Trapp wasn't at the bar Tuesday night, but her employees have said they didn't notice anything out of the ordinary that night.

"He had a couple of glasses of wine. He paid his tab with a credit card. He gave cash to the server," said Trapp.

Video then shows Verret getting up.

"He got up, went to the bathroom, came back to his bar stool, sat there for a minute and then walked out the front door and walked right past his car," said Trapp.

No one knows where Verret was going, but surveillance video makes it look like he was headed down Route 10.

"We're trying to do everything we can to help the family find him" says Trapp.

The pub has even gone as far as to post Verret's disappearance on its Facebook page. The post has been shared more than 1,200 times.

"If anyone remembers the slightest thing, remembers him walking down Route 10 at 6:15 at night, if they remember seeing a kid, it's important they reach out," said Trapp.

Anyone with information is asked to call Reading police at 610-655-6381.
