PSU Berks, Health St. Joseph team up...

READING, Pa. - Two big names in Berks County are teaming up to help the community.

Officials with Penn State Berks and with Penn State Health St. Joseph held a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Penn State Health's campus in downtown Reading on Monday.

They were celebrating the debut of the new 'Langan Launchbox' initiative. Officials said the Launchbox is a program that will allow students and medical experts to come together to come up with new ideas.

"It's a program that's intended to focus on expanding entrepreneurship and job-creation in communities where Penn State campuses are located," said Keith Hillkirk, chancellor, Penn State Berks.

Officials are calling the program a win for students, for the health system, and for the city of Reading.
