Rally in Reading calls for end to gun violence

READING, Pa. - A crowd gathered to spread a message of peace in Reading on Wednesday.

A few dozen people held signs as they marched to City Hall, calling for an end to gun violence.

One boy's sign read: "No more Newtowns or Columbines."

Reading Mayor Vaughn Spencer was among those who addressed the rally on Washington Street.

Similar rallies took place across Pennsylvania. Participants pausing simultaneously at 12:30 p.m. for a moment of silence to remember the victims of gun violence across America.
