Reading immigrants share their stories with library audience

READING, Pa. - Immigrants who came to Reading shared some of their stories during panel discussion hosted by the Reading Public Library on Monday.

Speakers discussed the challenges immigrants can face in a new country, like prejudice and culture shock. They also shared some of the positives.

"We were really looking to find similarities and differences and to look at the differences, all of them are very beautiful and make our country what it is," said Daniel Egusquiza, outreach coordinator, Reading Public Library.

The panel included speakers from Ecuador, India, and Colombia.
