Reports: Eagles expected to sign QB Mark Sanchez

Former Jet expected to join Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA - According to multiple reports, The Philadelphia Eagles are expected to sign former Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, pending a physical.

Sanchez missed all of last season following shoulder surgery. He was recently released when New York signed former Eagles backup quarterback Michael Vick.

Sanchez had a 37-31 overall record as QB for New York after being the No. 5 overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. He's accumulated 12,092 passing yards with 68 touchdowns and 69 interceptions in his career.
