Ribbon cut for school playground built with money from fundraisers

RICHMOND TWP., Pa. - Hard work has paid off at Richmond Elementary School in the Fleetwood Area School District.

A ribbon was cut on brand new playground equipment at the school in Richmond Township on Monday.

The school hosted a walk-a-thon fundraiser in April, and the school's Parent Teacher Association also chipped in to raise money for the new equipment.

The price tag of the new playground was around $30,000.
