Robeson residents rallying to save township's police force

ROBESON TWP., Pa. - Some residents of Robeson Township are worried about the future of the police force.

A sign outside the Gibraltar Fire Company is urging the community to save the police department.

The idea of disbanding the department came up at a recent meeting of the township supervisors, but we're told the motion was rescinded.

The next meeting is scheduled for May 21 at 7 p.m.

Police aren't commenting on the situation.
