Royals beginning to find scoring consistency

Royals trying to score with more consistency

READING - The Reading Royals were frustrated early in the season by their lack of scoring. The team boasts a number of talented goal scorers this season, who may have found their groove over the weekend.

The Royals scored 11 goals in a pair of wins Friday and Saturday, ending a frustrating stretch of games in which the team took plenty of shots yet failed to score consistently.

Reading is 4-3 through its first seven games, good enough for 1st in the ECHL's Atlantic Division.

But the team would like to see its scoring stabilize heading into November, knowing full well that it may have to deal with more player movement over the next few weeks.
