Royals top Elmira in shootout

READING - The Reading Royals defeated the Elmira Jackals on WedneSday night, 4-3 (2-1 SO), to capture their eighth win this month. The team has only lost twice in November.

The Royals got a pair of goals from Domenic Monardo and another from T.J. Syner.

Reading led the game 3-1 at one point in the third period, but Elmira clawed back to tie the game and send it into overtime.

In the shootout, the Royals scored on their final two attempts (Caporusso, Syner) to seal the victory. Goalie Brandon Anderson allowed only one goal in the shootout.
