Royals given champion-worthy celebration in Reading

READING, Pa. - The Reading Royals celebrated their Kelly Cup championship with the fans on Wednesday. A parade down Penn Street got things started and wrapped up with a rally at the Sovereign Center.

Royals fans lined Penn St. from the V-F Outlets in Wyomissing all the way to the Sovereign Center. The Royals and their personnel rode in a combination of trollies, firetrucks and four-wheelers.

A rally at the Sovereign Center capped the evening off. The Kelly Cup was put on display and every member of the Royals gave an address to the fans. Afterwards, the players were made available for autographs.

The Kelly Cup was the first-ever in Royals franchise history. They defeated the Stockton Thunder 4-1 in the final series.
